House of Gold Living

Terms and Conditions

Last updated: 30 September 2026

These terms apply to everything I offer through House of Gold Living: my website and waitlists, group programmes such as the Healthy Home Reset, consultations, full interior design projects, and any meeting or contact with me in person, online or by phone. By joining a waitlist, booking, paying a deposit or working with me, you agree to them. Where I give you a written proposal or quote for a particular service, that proposal applies together with these terms, and if the two differ, the proposal comes first.

Waitlists

Joining a waitlist does not commit you to buy anything and does not guarantee a place. Places on group programmes are limited. I will email you when dates and details are ready. You can leave a waitlist at any time by using the unsubscribe link in my emails or by emailing me.

Group programmes

The Healthy Home Reset is a four week live group programme. Dates, price, format and what is included will be confirmed before you decide to book. Any optional extras, such as a private session, are offered separately and described when you book.

Consultations

A consultation is a paid session, in person or online, where I give you focused design guidance for your home. It is advice only. It does not include drawings, specifications, purchasing or project management unless we agree that in writing. The length, fee and format will be confirmed when you book.

Full interior design projects

For a full design project, I will send a written proposal setting out the scope of work, what you will receive, the fees, the payment schedule and the expected timings. A project begins when you accept the proposal and pay any deposit. Changes to the scope, extra rooms or extra revisions beyond those in the proposal may be charged separately, and I will agree these with you before going ahead.

Meeting in person and home visits

When I visit your home or meet you in person, please make sure I can access the spaces we have agreed, that the environment is safe, and tell me about anything I should know in advance, such as pets or building access. Please let me know as early as you can if you need to change or cancel a meeting. Travel outside the agreed area, and time beyond what was booked, may be charged as set out when you book.

Your responsibilities

To get the best result, you agree to give me accurate information about your home, needs and budget, to check measurements and plans I share, to make decisions and give feedback in good time, and to tell me promptly if anything changes. Delays in information or decisions may affect timings and costs.

Fees and payment

Prices are shown in pounds sterling and are confirmed in your booking or proposal. A place or booking is confirmed once payment or any required deposit is received. For design projects, payments are made in the stages set out in the proposal. Products, furniture, materials and trades are usually paid for separately, either directly by you to the supplier or as agreed in writing. Cancellation and refund terms are set out in the next section and in your booking or proposal.

Cancellations and refunds

For consultations and design projects, you can cancel for a full refund if you tell me at least 14 days before your booked consultation, or before the agreed start date of your project. If you cancel less than 14 days before, I am not able to offer a refund, although I will try to rearrange your booking where I can. If I need to cancel or reschedule, I will offer you a new date or a full refund. Group programmes and other services have their cancellation terms shown when you book. Nothing in these terms affects your legal rights as a consumer, including any right to cancel a service you buy online or by phone.

Suppliers, products and tradespeople

I may recommend suppliers, products and tradespeople. Prices, availability and lead times are set by them and can change. Unless we agree in writing that I am managing them on your behalf, any contract for goods or work is between you and that supplier or tradesperson, and they are responsible for their own work and products.

Not professional or medical advice

My work offers practical design and lifestyle guidance to support a healthier, more intentional home. It is not medical, psychological, legal, engineering or structural advice, and it does not replace building regulations, planning or safety checks. If you have a health concern, please speak to a qualified professional. Where work needs a structural engineer, surveyor, electrician or other qualified professional, you are responsible for appointing them unless we agree otherwise in writing.

Intellectual property

All content, including programme materials, design concepts, drawings, mood boards, text, images and branding, belongs to House of Gold Living. It is for your personal use in your own home. Please do not copy, share or resell it, or give it to another designer to reproduce, without my written permission.

Photographs and portfolio

I may ask to photograph completed work for my portfolio and marketing. I will always ask your permission first, and I will only use images that identify you or your home with your agreement.

Community and conduct

Group programmes are small and supportive. I ask everyone to be respectful and to keep other participants' stories private. I may end a session or remove anyone who is disrespectful or disruptive.

Limits on my responsibility

I take care to give accurate and helpful guidance and to carry out my work with reasonable skill and care, but I cannot guarantee particular results, and I am not responsible for delays or problems caused by suppliers, tradespeople or circumstances outside my control. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Privacy

How I look after your personal information is explained in my Privacy Policy.

Changes and governing law

I may update these terms from time to time. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
